This adventure game is pretty interesting. You have a pet called the Maw and you assist eachother to explore an alien planet.The game mechanics require you to feed the Maw smaller creatures, grow bigger and even obtain powers to traverse obstacles.It's worth a play but can get repetitive.62/100. The camera is unbearable unless you plan on going in one direction for a while. Moving your character around is very awkward and imprecise and the camera certainly doesn't help. At first I was a bit excited, but I quickly lost interest in the second level when I had one gem left to find. You'll get hounded with enemy fire moving back and forth trying to dodge and with the camera throttling so quickly in whatever direction you're moving, it gets annoying. Did I also mention the camera stinks?. First there was "On the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness". Then there was another one of it. More of the same, but that's no bad thing.. This is an excellent approximation of what it would be like to play poker against a series of children with ADD and only a basic grasp of the rules. All-ins pre-flop are routinely called by the computer player holding 4-6 off. 2-7 off is a must raise hand. It's impossible to put your opponents on anything as they basically play mostly randomly. Don't buy this game if you like poker.. Lets get this straight. I don't play poker or any other games similar to that in real life nor did i ever like the idea of playing. But:+This game is awesome! Firstly i got it on sale for 5euro (Premium Edition).+Easy to learn even for noobs like me. (Has a full tutorial about poker)+Its not JUST poker..its poker with Storyline!+Combines the storyline and buying stuff(hats for your character,houses for rent) with the thrill of playing a card game.+Has achievements which even for me are fun!+Time passes nicely -No multiplayer :(. The Maw is an adorable platformer game about a little blue alien and his purple alien pet/friend that eats everything.I think this game is geared at children and families and casual gamers... which isn't a bad thing. The reason I think this, is that there was no way of really dying in the game... You can make mistakes, but they're forgiving and generally reversable.The characters and world are charming and cute, and are something that I wouldn't mind sharing with a 5 year old... or their grandmother, believing it will be received well by them both.
